“Intergenerational Power: Anti-Ageism Workshop with Ryan 'twinkle' Backer provided me with a much-needed opportunity to mutually engage with the universal yet often unspoken topics of age and ageism. From the outset, twinkle fostered a welcoming space that encouraged participants to share their perspectives, personal experiences and reflections. They skillfully guided us in exploring societal narratives around aging while honouring the lived experiences of each individual. The interactive format created opportunities for genuine connections and meaningful conversations across ages, reinforcing the idea that "intergenerational power" is a pathway to collective growth and deeper understanding.
